Katlyn Chookagian Replace Andrade Against Manon Fiorot at UFC Paris
Katlyn Chookagian vs Manon Fiorot is on for UFC Paris once again after Jessica Andrade has been ruled out of the first-ever UFC event in France.
Initially, Jessica Andrade replaced Katlyn, but now the former has been forced to withdraw due to an injury. As a result, Chookagian steps back in to face Fiorot on September 3.
Jon Anik himself stated during UFC Long Island that Jessica Andrade vs Manon Fiorot might not be happening. Now, ESPN reported that according to Chookagian’s manager both the fighters have already inked the contract for this bout.
Manon Fiorot is undefeated in the UFC so far. She has won all of her four bouts. Fiorot has defeated Jennifer Maia, Mayra Bueno Silva, Tabatha Ricci, and Victoria Leonardo so far in UFC.
On the other hand, Katlyn Chookagian is also on a four-fight winning streak. She is coming off a split decision victory against Amanda Ribas earlier this year in May. Her last UFC loss came against none other than Jessica Andrade in October 2020.
Katlyn Chookagian will certainly be Manon Fiorot’s most formidable opponent so far. Both these women are in the red hot form, and now it will be interesting to see who will come out of the octagon with a victory at the first-ever UFC event in France on September 3.
