Ilir Latifi vs Rodrigo Nascimento Targeted for May 20 UFC Event
A new heavyweight bout is in the works for the May 20 UFC Fight Night event.
According to the latest reports, Ilir Latifi will collide against Rodrigo Nascimento in a heavyweight bout at the UFC Fight Night event on May 20, 2023.
Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie was the first one to report this bout which was later confirmed by several other sources as well.
Ilir Latifi snapped his three-fight losing streak with a win against Tanner Boser in June 2021. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Aleksei Oleinik in October 2022.
On the other hand, Rodrigo Nascimento is also coming off a split-decision win against Tanner Boser in September 2022. Before that he defeated Alan Baudot via TKO but the decision was overturned after he tested positive for ritalinic acid. After this Nascimento was suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for three months.
Now, it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious in this heavyweight contest when Ilir Latifi and Rodrigo Nascimento collide on May 20.
