Albert Duraev vs Anthony Hernandez Added to UFC 273

Albert Duraev vs Anthony Hernandez Middleweight bout is all set to join the match card of UFC 273 which will take place on April 9. 

MMA Junkie confirmed the matchup with two people with knowledge of the situation. However, UFC  is yet to announce this bout officially. 

Anthony Hernandez pulled off a major upset when he defeated Rodolfo Vieira via second-round submission. This fight even earned him a Performance of the Night bonus. 

Since then he has been trying to return inside the octagon but it was delayed multiple times. He was set to return against Dustin Stoltzfus in December but the bout was canceled. 

On the other hand, Albert Duraev recently made his promotional debut at UFC 267. He won his very first UFC match against Roman Kopylov via unanimous decision. He also won his last ten MMA bouts. 

Hernandez must be looking forward to stopping this momentum of Duraev whereas the latter will be focused on getting his second UFC win on April 9 at UFC 273.
