Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan Set for Dec 10 in Nebraska

According to the latest reports, WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford is all set to face the former interim WBA champion David Avanesyan later this year on December 10.

Mike Coppinger of ESPN was the first one to report this news. He confirmed that Crawford will defend his title against Avanesyan at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Terence Crawford is one of the best pound-for-pound boxers and is currently undefeated. He won all 38 career bouts. Moreover, his last decision victory came back in 2016, and since then he has finished every single match.

On the other hand, David Avanesyan hasn’t lost a match since 2018. Egidijus Kavaliauskas was the last one to defeat Avanesyan. The latter rebounded by winning back-to-back six matches and is coming off a first-round TKO victory against Oskari Metz.

Both Crawford and Avanesyan seem to be in great form. But, Crawford is the current favorite to win this upcoming bout. So, will he be able to retain his title or will Avanesyan pull off an upset?
