WWE will air live from New York’s Maddison Square Garden for the first time since November 2009 and will tape both RAW and SmackDown next week. As they return to World’s most famous arena after 10 years, WWE has announced several high profile matches for both RAW and SmackDown apart from Steve Austin and the Undertaker appearing on the respective shows.

This week on RAW, Michael Cole hosted the contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions. But before the contract could be signed, the OC interrupted the proceedings. The segment led to a brawl, then a tag team match and then a post-match beatdown where the OC were joined by Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler to lay down Rollins and Strowman.

Stone Cold was probably watching the things unfold and was not happy with Michael Cole’s handling of the situation. He went on to announce that the contract signing will be completed next week and this time, he will be there in person to handle it. Later, WWE also officially confirmed that the Stone Cold will indeed moderate the contract signing Rollins and Strowman when WWE will air from MSG next week.

Current RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman are set to face-off for the Universal Championship at WWE Clash of Champion 2019 on 15 September. But before that, they will also defend the tag team titles against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler on the same night.
