According to the latest reports, WWE Day 1 2023 Premium Live Event has been reportedly canceled.

Wrestlenomics reported that WWE canceled the event for 2023. Day 1 event took place earlier this year on January 1 and it was supposed to be a tradition going forward.

WWE Day 1 2023 is scheduled to take place from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, but now it’s likely that the event will be canceled. Moreover, the event will not be rescheduled or rebranded.

All the sources were unable to confirm the reason for the cancellation. However, if the event takes place then it will go head-to-head with NBC’s last Sunday night Football Game on Peacock TV. At the time of writing, WWE Day 1 is still listed on Statefarm’s arena website for January 1, 2023.

If the report is true about the cancellation of Day 1, then after WWE Survivor Series, next premium live event will be Royal Rumble 2023.

Now, we have to wait for an official update from WWE. Stay tuned here for the latest WWE PPV/PLE Schedule
