Theory entered the ring as the eighth competitor in the men’s MITB ladder match and left it as Mr. Money in the Bank.

Theory defeated seven other wrestlers to win the ladder match at the Money in the Bank 2022 PPV event. Earlier this night, Theory lost his US title to Lashley, but he rebounded by winning the Money in the Bank contract.

Men’s MITB ladder match featured some amazing unexpected moments including the seven other competitors burying Omos under the pile of ladders, and six-man throwing the Nigerian Giant through the announce table.

There was a time when Drew McIntyre almost won the contract but he was stopped by Butch. With Butch’s help, Sheamus got a chance to climb up the ladder, but he was stopped by McIntyre.

Riddle didn’t hesitate in pulling off high-risk maneuvers. During the match, he went to the top of the ladder and took out everyone with a shooting star press. Not only that but he also delivered an RKO from the top of the ladder to Seth Rollins.

Riddle was very close to winning the contract, but he was stopped by Theory who pushed Riddle off the ladder and unlocked the briefcase to win the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
