Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens WWE WrestleMania 36(2020) Full Storyline

Below is the complete storyline for the match between Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens on WWE WrestleMania 36(2020).

1. WWE RAW – 25 November 2019 – After a disappointing performance from RAW on Survivor Series, Seth Rollins came out, with the complete roster surrounding the ring and called them out for not stepping up. However, he ended up rubbing several superstars in the wrong way. After everyone leaves, Rollins questioned Kevin Owens’ loyalty towards RAW after Owens’ appearance at NXT TakeOver: Wargames 2019 show. Owens, in turn, ended up hitting Rollins with a stunner.

Rollins and KO faced off later in the night in a singles match. But the match ended in a disqualification when Authors of Pain attacked Kevin Owens during the match.

2. WWE RAW – 2 December 2019 – Kevin Owens accused Seth Rollins of being in cahoots with AOP and being behind the attack from AOP previous week. AOP once again attacks Kevin Owens after Rollins leaves.

3. WWE RAW – 9 December 2019 – Kevin Owens kept searching for AOP backstage at RAW. Rey Mysterio hands him a LED pipe to help him in his quest. KO finds AOP’s van and finds a hooded figure sitting at the back. As KO goes to open the van, AOP attacks him. The hooded figure turned out to be Seth Rollins, who turned heel.

KO and Rollins continued to feud over the next few months. Rollins started calling himself “Monday Night Messiah.” Apart from AOP, Rollins was also joined by Buddy Murphy. Kevin Owens was helped out by the likes of Samoa Joe and The Viking Raiders.

4. WWE RAW – 20 January 2020 – Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy won the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship from The Viking Raiders.

5. WWE Royal Rumble 2020 – 26 January 2020 – Seth Rollins entered the men’s Royal Rumble match at number 30. He was aided by Murphy and AOP in eliminating Owens, Aleister Black and Samoa Joe. Those three then got into a brawl with Murphy and AOP, leaving Rollins as the target of others. Rollins was eliminated from the match after being ganged upon by others.

6. WWE RAW – 27 January 2020 – Rollins and Murphy successfully defended the RAW Tag Team titles against Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe after some underhanded tactics by Rollins.

7. WWE Super ShowDown 2020 – 27 February 2020 – Rollins and Murphy defended the tag team titles against Street Profits in Saudi Arabia.

8. WWE RAW – 2 March 2020 – Street Profits get a rematch against Rollins and Murphy. Kevin Owens interfered and hit a stunner on Rollins and Street Profits took advantage to win RAW Tag Team Championship.

9. WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 – 8 March 2020 – Rollins and Murphy got their rematch for tag team title. KO came out and sit near the announce table. This distracted Rollins, resulting in them losing the match. After the match, Owens hit a stunner on Rollins.

10. WWE RAW – 9 March 2020 – Seth Rollins challenges Kevin Owens for a singles match.

11. WWE RAW – 16 March 2020 – Kevin Owens accepts the challenge from Rollins but puts the condition that the match has to take place at WrestleMania 36.

12. WWE RAW – 23 March 2020 – Rollins and KO had a face-off where Rollins cut a promo, saying that he has always emerged successfully at WrestleMania while Owens has a very few wins at WrestleMania.

13. WWE RAW – 30 March 2020 – Kevin Owens & Street Profits defeated Angel Garza, Austin Theory and Seth Rollins in a tag team match. After the match, Rollins caught KO with a stomp. KO cut a promo for Rollins, highlighting how Rollins always had someone helping him to win at WrestleMania.
