SANADA Returns To IMPACT, Bout Announced For Multiverse United 2

Sanada’s return to IMPACT Wrestling and a new bout are announced for the IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 event.

IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Sanada, will make his appearance at IMPACT after 8 years when he returns at IMPACT Emergence 2023 event. Sanada’s last appearance in IMPACT came in 2015.

IMPACT officially announced that Sanada will fight at the IMPACT Emergence event, although his opponent has not yet been announced. Sanada is currently part of G1 Climax 33 tournament currently where he defeated Hikuleo on NJPW G1 Climax 2023 night 1 event.

IMPACT Emergence event is scheduled for August 27, 2023, at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

IMPACT has also announced the first match for IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2. Lio Rush and Trey Miguel will face Takahashi and Mike Bailey. Lio Rush defeated Chris Sabin at IMPACT Slammiversary 2023 event to win IMPACT X-Division Championship.

IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 is the second event in collaborative series between IMPACT and NJPW. The event is scheduled for August 20, 2023, at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
