WWE has announced that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be appearing on Money in the Bank 2023 PPV.
Roman was missing in the initial poster, raising speculations that The Tribal Cheif might miss the event with his part time schedule. However, he was later added to WWE’s MITB event page. The appearance is now official with a new press release from WWE.
WWE issued a press release as it opened a few more tickets for Money in the Bank 2023 event, which will take place on July 1, 2023, at The O2 Arena in London, UK. The new release officially announced that Roman Reigns is set to appear on the show. However, the nature of his involvement was not announced.
Money in the Bank was an instant sell out with more than 17,000 tickets sold out in the pre-sale and first few hours of the ticket sales. Check here for the ticket links for other WWE events.
Roman Reigns is yet to defend Universal Championship since the main event of night 2 of WrestleMania 39 where he defeated Cody Rhodes. He is set to challenge for WWE Tag Team Championship by teaming with Solo Sikoa at WWE Night of Champions 2023 event. His team faces Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Money in the Bank event will feature the yearly MITB briefcase matches for men and women division along with several other matches. The event will be taking place outside US for the first time.
