• Mia Yim defeated Bianca Belair with a pinfall following Protect Ya Neck.
• NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream does a selfie stick promo and says, “Tyler Breeze, I remember you. Dream further says when Breeze got called up, Dream saw fear in his eyes, and it was the last time he got a standing ovation. Tyler Breeze replies he was a staple in NXT and will push Dream out of that spotlight.

• NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler gives an interview during a photoshoot backstage. She says at TakeOver, the Genius of the Sky won’t be allowed to use weapons, and she’ll be all out of friends, while Shayna still has hers.
• Kushida defeated Drew Gulak with a pinfall. Kushida hit a flatliner created went for a Camel Clutch and when Gulak tried to counter, Kushida put his shoulders to the mat.

• Io Shirai is interviewed by Cathy Kelley, says she doesn’t need weapons or friends on Saturday. LeRae interrupts to thank Shirai for her help last week, and tell her she will have her back at TakeOver.
• Hype video for NXT Champion Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole at this Saturday’s TakeOver XXV.
• Forgotten Sons vs. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch ended in no contest. Jaxson Ryker was in Sons’ corner and was booted out by the ref. He was then attacked by the Street Profits on the entrance who also attacked the teams in the match. Undisputed Era clears the ring.
• Undisputed Era sets up the ladder in the ring. Adam Cole climbs up and cuts a promo warning all the opponents that they will face at TakeOver: XXV- Gargano, Riddle, and the tag teams.
