NA Title Match, Battle for The Bar Set for WWE NXT December 27
The card is set for the final episode of WWE NXT on December 27, 2022, which will feature North American Championship match and a Battle for the Bar.
Wes Lee will face Tony D’Angelo to defend the North American Championship on the final NXT episode of 2022. Lee has already stated that if he defeats Tony, he will have no issue defending his gold against Dijak.
Also announced for December 27, Cora Jade and Wendy Choo will battle in a rematch. Cora has just lost the Women’s Iron Survivor Match and has taken up a lot of heat from the match. Wendy told last week how Jade reminded her of all the childhood trauma from bullying.
Fallon Henley will face off against Keanu James in a Battle for the Bar. Henley rejected James’ offer to buy the Henley family bar, and the two women have been at odds ever since. The upcoming NXT episode is anticipated to see their rivalry soar to new heights.
Fallon has to win this match to make sure that her family has no financial obligations to Kiana. But if she loses, James will be able to purchase the Henley Family bar for little to nothing.
Additionally, Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid, and Rip Fowler) will compete against Edris Enofe, Malik Blade and Odyssey Jones. A one-on-one match between JD McDonagh and Julius Creed is also announced.
Last but not least, Drew Gulak invited Hank Walker to a seminar. Drew Gulak was working out backstage when he was approached by Hank Walker, who sought his advice. Gulak told him that he will be hosting the seminar next week and asked him to attend to ask everything he wants to know.
