WWE SummerSlam 2023 Officially Announced for Aug 5 in Detroit
WWE SummerSlam 2023 is set to take place at Ford Field in Detriot, MI, on August 5, 2023.
The Detroit News was the first one to break the news that WWE’s biggest summer party is set to return to detriot after 3 decades. Later, the same news it was confirmed by WWE also.
WWE will return to this arena after 16 years as WWE WrestleMania 23 was the last WWE event hosted by Ford Field in 2007. The event also created an attendance record for the venue as a total of 80,103 fans attended the event.
Moreover, Detroit last hosted SummerSlam back in 1993. Now, the biggest party of the summer is set to take over the State of Michigan after 30 years.
The tickets for WWE SummerSlam 2023 will go on sale on Friday, April 14, 2023. One can book the tickets via ticketmaster.com
WWE SummerSlam 2022 was headlined by Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar Last Man Standing match where Roman stood tall over Lesnar. Now, it remains to be seen who will main event SummerSlam later this year in Detroit.
