Two Title Matches Announced for Fastlane Go-Home WWE RAW Episode
WWE Monday Night RAW’s go-home edition for Fastlane 2021 will feature WWE RAW Tag Team Championship and WWE United States Championship matches.
Mustafa Ali, the leader of RETRIBUTION, will challenge Matt Riddle for the US title. Mustafa Ali beat the Original Bro in a non-title match last week. On Sunday, Ali tweeted and demanded from WWE that he should be named #1 contender for the title.
The match was announced during this week’s RAW. Matt Riddle managed to beat RETRIBUTION’s Slapjack in another non-title match this week. After the match, Ali was furious at Slapjack over the loss.
The other title match will see The Hurt Business(Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) defend their Tag Team titles against the New Day(Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods). The Hurt Business won the titles by defeating the New Day at TLC 2020 PPV. Their feud has continued since then.
This week, Xavier Woods defeated Shelton Benjamin in a singles match.
