Sami vs Kofi, LA Knight Set for WWE SmackDown October 14 Episode
Two matches are announced for WWE Smackdown episode of October 14, 2022.
New Day goaded Sami Zayn into a six-man tag team match past week on Smackdown after an argument backstage. Sami teamed up with unified WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos as he asked New Day to find a tag team partner. Braun Strowman turned out to be New Day’s third partner.
Things turned more bitter between Jey Uso and Sami during that match as they continued to argue between themselves while the match was still on. New Day and Strowman capitalized on this and were able to isolate Jimmy Uso to get the win. Now, Sami will try to prove to Jey that he could have done the job for the team if he was not arguing with Jey. He will face Kofi Kingston in a singles match next week on Smackdown.
Max Dupri was not happy with his Maximum Male Models from the last few weeks. The tensions came to the fore this week as we saw Max Durpi arguing with Maxinne Dupri after laying out Ma.Ce and Man.soor. He then returned to his former character from NXT as he concluded that he is LA Knight. LA Knight will now face Mansoor in a singles match on October 14 episode of Smackdown.
Next week’s SmackDown episode will start the buildup for WWE Crown Jewel 2022 PLE event which is scheduled for November 5. We might hear from the new SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey after her title win over Liv Morgan at Extreme Rules. What will be the effect of The Brawling Brutes’ win over Imperium and Karrion Kross’ victory over Drew McIntyre?
