Humberto Carrillo Become #1 Contender for Clash of Champions

Humberto Carrillo has become the no #1 contender to face Drew Gulak for WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WWE Clash of Champions 2019.

Last week at 205 Live, Humberto Carrillo was in Oney Lorcan’s team in the Captain’s Challenge Elimination match. Lorcan and Carrillo were the last two men remaining in the match as Lorcan’s team won that match with Carrillo pinning Drew Gulak.

As 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick looked to find the new #1 contender against Gulak, both Lorcan and Carrillo were eligible as they both had recently pinned Gulak. Maverick booked a no #1 contender’s match between them and Carrillo went on to the intense battle between the two.
