- The show opens with a recap of last week’s 5-on-5 Captain’s Challenge elimination match.
- Drake Maverick is seen congratulating Oney Lorcan and Humberto Carrillo for surviving the match last week. Oney wants another title shot against Drew Gulak. But both Humberto and Oney have a victory over the champion now. Carrillo suggests a triple threat match at Clash of Champions but Drake instead books a #1 contender’s match for tonight.
- Ariya Daivari defeated Kalisto by pinfall after the Pepsi Twist. Daivari dominated most of the match
- Post-match, Daivari goes to put boots to Kalisto but the rest of Lucha House Party makes the save. Before leaving, Daivari yells to Lince Dorado that he doesn’t need Metalik and Kalisto, and offers him a chance to join him.
- Tony Nese is interviewed backstage. Nese says he will do whatever it takes to win back the cruiserweight championship, but adds that he may need to change the way things are done. Being the premier athlete is not working out.
- Singh Brothers get a promo. They say that their return to 205 Live has not gone as well as they’d hoped. They plan on watching as much footage available to them and promise to become the greatest 205 Live tag team in the division’s history.
- Humberto Carrillo defeated Oney Lorcan by pinfall with the corkscrew senton to become #1 contender to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Clash of Champions.
- As Carrillo celebrates his win, Drew Gulak appears on the big screen to give him a slow clap. He talks about Humberto’s journey from his pupil all the way to beating Oney Lorcan, closing the show.
