Cruiserweight Championship Match added to Elimination Chamber 2019
In this week’s 205 Live episodes, Akira Tozawa won the Fatal 4-Way Elimination match to become the no. 1 contender for WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Buddy Murphy at Elimination Chamber PPV on 17th February this year.
Buddy Murphy last defended his title at Royal Rumble PPV when he competed in the Fatal 4-way match against Hideo Itami, Kalisto, and Akira Tozawa. For his next challenger, 205 Live managers announced the main event match at 205 live this week between Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander, Lio Rush, and Humberto Carillo. Lio Rush was the first man to be eliminated by Cedric Alexander while Akira Tozawa eliminated Humberto Carillo next before finally pinning Cedric Alexander to win the match.
The WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match was already announced for Elimination Chamber PPV. Also, all the 6 teams for the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match are announced now. Team Fabulous Glow of Naomi and Carmella joined the teams of Nia Jax and Tamina, Sasha Banks and Bayley,
The PPV will also hold other matches like the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The Miz and Shane McMahon vs the Usos. Other expected matches are RAW Tag Team Championship Match between Chad Gable and Boddy Roode vs the Revival and Intercontinental Championship match between Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor.
