Tony Schiavone revealed on this week’s episode of What Happened When with Tony Schiavone that AEW has actually signed Brodie Lee Jr. to a legitimate contract. It was done a couple of weeks before Jon Huber’s death. The company plans to have Lee Jr. son on the AEW roster when he grows older.

Jon Huber, also known as Mr. Brodie Lee in AEW and Luke Harper in WWE, passed away last Saturday after suffering from some lung issues. He was hospitalized at the end of October this year and was in the hospital until his death on the day after Christmas.

AEW earlier had Brodie Lee Jr. win the AEW World Championship after recent AEW Dynamite tapings in a sweet gesture in the holiday season. Tony Schiavone informed that the contract with Lee Jr. was signed before that.
