Cole vs O’Reilly Announced for NXT Great American Bash 2021

Adam Cole vs Kyle O'Reilly NXT Great American Bash 2021

NXT General Manager William Regal has announced an unsanctioned match between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly at NXT Great American Bash 2021.

Adam Cole turned on O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver: Vengence Day earlier this year. The feud led to an unsanctioned main event match at night 2 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, where O’Reilly defeated Cole.

However, the feud did not end as the former Undisputed Era teammates continued to attack each other in the following weeks. On last night’s NXT, Cole and O’Reilly were once again brawling backstage. As William Regal tried to get things under control with security, he announced another unsanctioned match between them at NXT Great American Bash.

The segment also saw NXT’s new enforcer Samoa Joe putting Cole to sleep when Cole shoved him. William Regal also announced that both Cole and O’Reilly will pick opponents of their choice for their respective singles matches next week.

Kyle O’Reilly has challenged NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida for a match next week. Adam Cole’s opponent is not revealed at this point.

NXT Great American Bash takes place on 6 July 2021 from Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Fl. Keep tuned in for the latest updates from NXT & WWE.
