Otis vs Angelo Dawkins Announced for WWE SmackDown 18 June
WWE has announced Otis vs Angelo Dawkins singles match for this week’s SmackDown episode.
Two weeks back, The Street Profits discarded Chad Gable’s advances to rope them in the Alpha Academy. This led to an argument between Profits and Otis. As Profits refused to apologize to Gable, Otis attacked both Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins and took them out.
A tag team match was announced between the two teams for last week on SmackDown. However, Gable tried to make peace between the two teams and got that match canceled. However, Street Profits once again took shots at Gable. Gable then challenged either Ford or Dawkins for a singles match.
Ford accepted the challenge from Gable. As the match went on, Otis took out Dawkins backstage and then also went on to attack Ford to cause a disqualification. WWE later announced that Montez Ford has suffered a partial ribs fracture and torn intercostal cartilage.
WWE The Bump has now announced that Otis and Angelo Dawkins will go one-on-one this Friday on SmackDown. No other matches are announced for the show yet. This week’s SmackDown episode will be the Hell in a Cell go-home edition of SmackDown.
