Braun Strowman Returns

Braun Strowman appeared at the closing segment of tonight’s Smackdown as he made his return to WWE TV. The Royal Rumble go-home edition of SmackDown featured a 10-Man Tag Team Match in the main event with talent from both RAW and SmackDown participating.

The match ended with a win for Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Otis, and WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E over The Miz, John Morrison, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Cesaro.

The losing team continued with their attack, leading to another brawl. Braun Strowman appeared in the closing minutes of the show and laid out Cesaro, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles.

This was Strowman’s first appearance on WWE TV since post-Survivor Series episode of Raw in November. On that episode, Strowman tried to intimidate Adam Pearce and ended up pushing him to the ground. This led to his storyline suspension due to putting his hands on a WWE Official.

At Survivor Series 2020, Strowman was part of Team Raw for the men’s five-on-five elimination match where saw Team RAW defeated Team SmackDown in a clean sweep.

Strowman was initially rumored to face Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship at TLC 2020 PPV. However, he suffered a minor knee injury and was written off TV via storyline suspension.

It is being expected that Strowman will be participating in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match this Sunday, despite not being announced for the match yet.
