Asuka & Omos Qualify for Money in the Bank 2022 Matches
More names have qualified for men and women Money in the Bank ladder matches during this week’s WWE RAW episode
Riddle faced Omos on last night’s RAW in the men’s qualifier. Despite showing fight, Riddle succumbed to Omos’ power and the injuries he suffered in his match against Roman Reigns last Friday.
In the end, Omos hits the double-handed chokeslam to counter Riddle’s RKO to get the pin. Omos became the fourth wrestler to qualify for men’s Money in the Bank ladder match after Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura will collide in another qualifier at Smackdown. Another qualifier is expected to take place on next week’s RAW.
Asuka and Becky Lynch clashed in a women’s MITB qualifier match in the main event of RAW. After another great back and forth match, Asuka nailed Becky with a roundhouse kick to the head to get the pin. Asuka became the fifth woman to qualify for the match after Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Lacey Evans and Raquel Gonzalez.
MITB ladder matches will take place at the Money in the Bank 2022 event on July 2. RAW Women’s, Smackdown Women’s and unified Tag Team title matches are also announced for the show.
