AEW Rampage will return to TNT this week once again on October 14, 2022 with a pre-taped episode.
4 matches are set for the show starting with Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli taking on The Butcher & The Blade. Nyla Rose will try to kick A– of Anna Jay AS. Ethan Page takes on Isiah Kassidy with Matt Hardy and Private Party’s contract on the line. FTR teams up with Shawn Spears to take on The Embassy in a tag team match.

Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli vs The Butcher & The Blade
Claudio and Butcher start the match. Claudio sends Butcher to the barricade as the action goes to the floor. Moxley sends Blade into the barricade. Blade hits an atomic drop on Moxley on the barricade. Back to the ring, Blade and Mox trade chops. Mox hits a German suplex. Adam Page is watching Moxley on TV Screen. Mox hits a leg drop before Claudio tags in to hit a headbutt. Butcher gets the tag and drops Claudio. Claudio hits him with a suplex. Blade tags in and hits a chop. Claudio hits him with uppercuts in corners. Bunny gets into the ring to block Claudio. The referee gets distracted by Bunny. Butcher runs over Claudio to take control. We cut to a break.
Claudio fires in with big elbow on Blade as we return. Butcher drops Mox off the apron. Butcher tags in and Blade jumps on Claudio from the top. Claudio hits Butcher with an uppercut and a clothesline. Mox gets the tag and hits a cutter on Blade. Mox hits a suicide dive on Butcher. Mox puts Blade to the top before raking his back. He hits a superplex and a piledriver to get a close two-count. Mox hammers down on Blade. Butcher comes in to attack Mox from behind. Claudio comes in to save Mox from double-team finisher. Mox and Claudio drops both opponents with lariats. They both stomp on Butcher and Blade. Mox hits Death Rider on Butcher while Claudio hits a powerbomb to get the pin.
Winner – Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli
Moxley and Claudio get on the mic after the match. Moxley says Adam Page is getting stepped upon on Tuesday.
Shane “Swerve” Strickland and Keith Lee gets interviewed by Renee Paquette. Swerve mocks how The Acclaimed were duped by Mark Sterling after he defeated Billy Gunn. Keith Lee intervenes and tells him that he stuck with Swerve since he believed in him. Lee fires a warning to him that he is swerving into the wrong lane as he cheated to defeat Billy Gunn.
Renee is backstage with Dark Order to talk about their loss to Death Triangle last week. Jose The Assistant comes in to talk to Pres10 Vance once again. 10 tells Jose to leave him alone. He says he is ready to face Rush next week, and if he wins, Andrade’s stable has to leave him alone.
Jericho Appreciation Society
Chris Jericho comes out with Daniel Garcia, Anna Jay AS, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. Parker proclaims that Family is back together. Menard says JAS is going to be together forever. Anna introduces Daniel Garcia as the man of the hour and a man too sweet to be sour. Garcia says everyone is asking him about what he did on Wednesday. He says Chris Jericho has always said that Sports Entertainers are superior. He did not want to believe him, and wanted to be a pro wrestler like his idol. Garcia says he will never be a pro wrestler. Bryan Danielson taught him so much but when Jericho hit him with ROH title, he taught him to win. He says his name is Daniel Garcia, and he is a sports entertainer.
Chris Jericho he is the greated Ring of Jericho champion and he will be greatest ROH World Champion ever. ROH 6-man tag team champions – Dalton Castle & the Boys come out. Castle says he used to be an ROH World Champion and it makes him sick that title is with Jericho. He is willing to back his break to get the title off Jericho. He asks for a title shot. Jericho tells him that he will take out all of his feathers when they clash next week.
Nyla Rose vs Anna Jay AS
Nyla throws Anna to the mat after they lock up. Nyla drops her with a waist takeodwn. Anna tries to go blow for blow with her. Nyla hits her with a couple of body slams and a leg drop. Nyla hits a corner splash. She misses a cannonball as we cut to a break.
Nyla sets up Anna on the ropes but misses a knee drop. Anna drops her face on the ropes and then hits a neckbreaker to get a two-count. Nyla breaks a choke. She slams Anna to the corner and hits a beast bomb to get the pin.
Winner – Nyla Rose
Jade Cargill comes out with The Baddies. Security is lined up to keep her away. Keira Hogan and Leila Gray try to deal with the security but Jade had to get involved and drops everyone from security. Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir run away from behind Jade with the title.
Ari Daivari gets a video promo where he reveals the envelope he offered to Hook had $50,000 in it as he wanted to purchase the FTW title. Now, Hook will be beaten by him next week.
Ethan Page vs Isiah Kassidy – Matt Hardy’s contract on the line
Page throws his jacket to Kassidy to distract him and kicks him down. Page throws Kassidy across the ring and then drops him with a shoulder tackle. Page mocks Matt Hardy, who is on the floor. Kassidy gets him in an inside cradle to get a two-count. Kassidy hits a DDT to get a two-count. He hits a tornilo when Page moves to the floor. Stokeley Hathaway stops Kassidy from getting into the ring. When Kassidy returns, he misses a senton. Page hits Ego’s Edge to get the pin.

Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler & Shawn Spears vs The Embassy(Kaun, Toa Liona & Brian Cage)
Kaun and Spears start the match. Spears reverses an arm wrench before hitting a snapmare. He takes down Toa Liona down on the apron with a low dropkick. He hits a crossbody on Brian Cage and Liona to take us to a break.
Liona hits a senton on Spears on the apron as we return. Cage hits a suplex from the second rope to get a two-count. Cage hits more chops. Kaun tags in to hit a kick to Spears’ back. Cage hits another suplex for another two-count. Spears escapes off his shoulders but Kaun tags in to Spears from a tag out. Spears fights off and tags in Harwood.
Harwood unloads on Kaun and hits a spinebuster. Kaun fires back and tags in Cage. Cage hits an ax handle. Wheeler breaks up a pin attempt. Wheeler saves Harwood from a double suplex from Cage and Kaun. FTR puts Cage and Kaun in sharpshooters. Spears puts sharpshooters locks on Prince Nana. Liona attacks all the opponents. Kaun rolls up Harwood but Wheeler saves him from the pin. Spears hits Kaun with the C-4 to get the pin.
Winner – FTR & Shawn Spears
The Kingdom – Mike Bennett, Matt Taven and Maria Kanellis come out. Maria says FTR have never faced The Kingdom and challenges them for ROH & IWGP Tag Team titles. As Bennett & Taven head to the ring, The Embassy attack FTR and Spears. Wardlow and Samoa Joe come out to make the save.
