AEW will present a live AEW Rampage episode on May 27, 2022, from Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, NV, as a go-home show for Double or Nothing 2022 PPV.

The Young Bucks will be in action in a tag team match. Bryan Danielson will face Matt Sydal in a singles match. The last spot for the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final will be at stake as Kris Statlander faces Ruby Soho. A new title will be awarded to Scorpio Sky.

Bryan Danielson vs Matt Sydal

Both competitors are in the ring already as the show opens. Bryan starts with a takedown. He hits a shoulder as they go for show of strength. Bryan puts on a side headlock before hitting a knee drop on Sydal’s face. Sydal comes back with a flying-mare. Bryan gets in the corner to regroup. He puts on full nelson lock. Sydal gets to his feet but Bryan hits a backbreaker. He follows with uppercuts. He rakes the face before hitting a shoulder tackle. Sydal hits a leg lariat and a standing moonsault to take us to a break.

Sydal hits a knee strike and a leg lariat as we return. Bryan hits back with uppercuts. Sydal goes for another leg lariat but Bryan catches him. Sydal hits a frankesteiner and goes for the pin for a two-count. Sydal hits a roundhouse kick to get a two-count. Sydal goes to the top. Bryan meets him there. Sydal drops him to the mat and hits a meteora. Bryan transitions it into a single leg crab. Bryan transitions it into a knee bar. Sydal grabs the ropes. Bryan hits uppercuts. Sydal counters with a sunset flip powerbomb from the second rope for a near fall.

They trade uppercuts. Sydal gets another two-count with a backslide. Bryan comes back with a running knee for a two-count. Bryan softens him up before putting on a choke to put him to sleep.

Winner – Bryan Danielson

We get a video package for the rivalry to friendship between Hook and Danhausen.

The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs Jon Cruz & Taylor Rust

Matt Jackson is dressed as Matt Hardy and Nick comes out as Jeff Hardy. They also have Gangrel with them.

Nick starts with a takedown on Cruz before an inverted atomic drop and a double leg takedown. Matt tags in and Nick hits a corner splash jumping off his back. Matt hits a scoop an a slam. He teases a Swanton bomb but instead hits a double ax handle. Nick tags back. Rust gets a tag and hits quick kicks on The Bucks. They reply with a double superkick. Cruz tags back in and runs into another superkick party. Matt hits a Twist of Fate. Nick hits Swanton Bomb and gets the pin.

Winner – The Young Bucks

After the match, the Bucks attack Gangrel. The Hardys come out and stand face to face with The Bucks. They go for a DDT on The Bucks but Brandon Cutler saves them. Gangrel attacks Cutler before The Hardys hit them with their signature moves.


Darby Allin challenges Kyle O’Reilly for a match at Double or Nothing since he believes KOR is the one to injure sting. Allin promises that he will interfere in Adam Cole’s and The Young Bucks’ match if KOR does not accept his challenge.


Dante Martin vs Max Caster

The Acclaimed come out with The Gunn Club for this match. Dante hits Colten, Austin and Caster with a springboard crossbody. Billy Gunn sends Dante into the steel steps before throwing him back in to the ring. The bell rings for the match and the referee Audrey Edwards boots everyone from the ringside. Caster starts with some kicks. Dante hits back on his leg, We cut to a break with Caster in control.

Caster hits a back suplex as we return. Caster misses a diving foot stomp. A sunset flip from Dante and O’connor roll for two-count. Dante hits double axe handles, gamengiri, and a diving crossbody from the top turnbuckle. Dante hits a nosedive to get the pin.

Winner – Dante Martin

Dan Lambert is with AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. They reveal a new gold plated TNT Championship belt with some purple in between. Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti and Frankie Kazarian appear on the big screen and reveal that they are at American Top Team’s office. They break glass of a belt collection, and picks up UFC’s BMF belt and other UFC belts. They say that they will see them at Vegas. Scorpio Sky gets frustrated and agree to a mixed trios match. Sky, Page and Paige Vanzant vs Sammy, Kazarian and Conti at Double or Nothing. He also adds that if his team wins, Sammy and Kazarian can never challenge him for the TNT title.

Kris Statlander vs Ruby Soho – Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinal

Statlander starts with a side headlock takedown. Soho picks her leg. Kris sweeps Soho’s leg. They come to a stalemate. They lock up again and Kris hits a shoulder block. Another shoulder block gets her a two-count. They come to some argument. Soho takes her down and then hits an armdrag. A bit of back and forth before Kris takes down Soho to take us to the break.

They trade strikes as we return. Kris stops a tornado DDT and hits a powerslam. Kris hits a running European uppercut in the corner. Ruby comes back with headscissors from the top. Kris hits a powerbomb to get a near fall. Ruby blocks her finisher and hits “The Future” Pele kick. Kris drops on the floor and Soho could not go for the pin.

Soho drops Kris on the floor. Back to the ring, she goes to the top. She brings Kris to the mat with move on shoulder. Kris stops Destination unknown and drops Soho on the turnbuckle. Kris hits a blue thunderbomb to get a near fall. Soho kicks her away and puts on a crucifix to get the pin.

Winner – Ruby Soho

Britt Baker comes out to the stage. Before she could say anything, Soho cuts her off and says fans are tired of hearing Baker for two years now. Soho says Kris is her friend and we all saw what she did to Kris. Soho asks Baker to imagine what she will do to Baker on Sunday.

Bryan Danielson vs Matt Sydal: Bryan Danielson will try and prove that he is 100% before the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing. He will face a young challenger in Matt Sydal.

New Title: Sammy Guevara broke the AEW TNT Championship last week on Rampage as he try to frustrate Scorpio Sky in a mixed tag team match. With the title belt now broken, Scorpio Sky will be awarded a customized TNT title tonight on Rampage.

Last Spot: Britt Baker reached the finals of Owen Hart Foundation tournament by beating Toni Storm at Dynamite. Kris Statlander and Ruby Soho will face off for the second final spot on Rampage. Who will go ahead to face Baker at Double or Nothing?
