AEW Dynamite will present a special Tuesday Night episode on October 18, 2022, due to NHL coverage on TNT on Wednesday. As the show will once again go against WWE NXT, 4 title matches are scheduled for this week’s show.
Jon Moxley will defend AEW World title against Adam Page. Chris Jericho will defend ROH World title against Dalton Castle. AEW Trios Championship will be on the line in the match between Death Triangle & Best Friends. Toni Storm faces Hikaru Shida to defend interim women’s title. Jon Moxley vs Adam Page for AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley will have to defend the AEW World Championship against former champion Adam Page on this week’s Dynamite episode. Page won the Rampage Battle Royal to earn the title shot. Last week, the duo exchanged a fiery promo where Page revealed details about his anxiety and depression. Will he be able to overcome all of these to become a champion once again? The task will definitely be tougher due to the match being against Jon Moxley. Also, MJF is lurking in the shadow with his chip for the title shot. Will he encash it this week?
Chris Jericho defends ROH Title
Last week, former ROH World Champion and one-half of current ROH 6-man Tag Team Champion Dalton Castle appeared on AEW Rampage. He revealed how he is disgusted by Chris Jericho holding the ROH World Championship. Jericho agreed to defend the title against him this week and also claimed that he will ruffle all of his feathers. Will it turn out to be the case?
Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida Battle for Women’s Title
Both Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida were involved in interim Women’s title match at All Out where Storm came out on the winning side by pinning Britt Baker. Shida was out of action after an attack from Baker later that night. She returned last week to partner Storm in defeating Baker and Jamie Hayter. This week, she gets another shot at the interim Women’s Championship. Will we see a title change?
Death Triangle vs Best Friends Rematch
Death Triangle made their first defense of AEW Trios titles against Best Friends & Orange Cassidy and came out on the other side successfully. The rivalry between the two sides continued with Orange Cassidy and Trent Baretta pursuing AEW All-Atlantic Championship. Cassidy was able to defeat PAC on last week’s Dynamite to win the All Atlantic title. Getting encouraged by his first title in AEW, Cassidy and Best Friends will go after the Trios titles once again.
What More To Expect?
MJF will address the crowd once again this week. He holds the Casino Chip which he can encash for AEW World Championship shot anytime, anywhere. Will it happen this week?
