AEW World Championship match is finally announced this week on Dynamite when CM Punk signed an open contract from Jon Moxley. This will be a rematch from last week’s Dynamite where Moxley squashed Punk in the undisputed title match. Punk’s recently injured foot gave out as he went for a high kick. Punk was disappointed this week after the loss, but his former coach Ace Steel lit a fire in him again, leading to Punk signing the contract for the title match.

TBS Women’s Champion Jade Cargill’s undefeated streak will be under threat at AEW All Out as she defends the title against Athena. Athena has been a threat for Cargill ever since her debut earlier this year at Revolution. They have continued to feud with Kris Statlander and Anna Jay by Athena’s side and Cargill getting the support for her Baddies. They will finally clash in a singles match on this weekend.

PAC has been touring the world defending his All-Atlantic Championship. He returned to Dynamite last week, and Kip Sabian was quick to pounce on him. A title match between them is set for the pre-show at All Out. Another title that will be on the pre-show will be the FTW title match between Hook and “Cool Hang” Angelo Parker.

AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa is currently sidelined due to an injury. So, AEW has booked an interim title fatal 4-way match which will feature Toni Storm, Jamie Hayer and former champions Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida. Which woman will emerge victorious with the championship from this clash?

AEW World Tag Team Champions Swerve in Our Glory(Keith Lee & Shane Strickland) have handpicked up The Acclaimed as their opponents. Anthony Bowens and Max Caster from the Acclaimed are currently ranked at #2 in the AEW tag team rankings just after FTR.

Additionally, AEW will crown the first Trios World Champions in the final of the Trios tournament. The Elites – Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson have secured their place in the final after defeating LA Faccion Ignobernables and United Empire in the first round and semifinal respectively. Their opponents will be decided on Rampage this week as Best Friends take on Adam Page and Dark Order’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds.
