Video Highlights: Zhang Weili Knocked Out Jedrzejcyzk
The third match of the UFC 275’s main card also ended with a finish as Zhang Weili defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk via TKO.
Weili stopped Jonna at 2:20 in the second round of the bout via a beautiful spinning back fist. It was a hard-hitting match that featured some great strikes from the very beginning.
Jedrzejczyk was the first one to land a strike but it didn’t take much time for Weili to connect a shot of her own. Joanna rebounded with some shots but Weili managed to take her down and put her in a waist lock.
Soon, Weili flooded Joanna’s head with punches. She even managed to hit some elbow strikes. In the ending moments of Round 1, Jedrzejczyk went for a high kick, but Weili caught her leg and took her down again.
The second round started with a back-and-forth action as both the fighters were charging at each other. During the action, Weili managed to connect a spinning back fist which dropped Joanna Jedrzejczyk for good and ended the match.
