Victor Altamirano vs Daniel Da Silva Set for UFC 279
Victor Altamirano vs Daniel Da Silva flyweight bout has reportedly been added to the fight card of the UFC 279 PPV event.
Carlos Contreras Legaspi reported that Jake Hadley was ruled out of the bout against Altamirano which was scheduled to take place at UFC 278. As a result, the latter moved to UFC 279 to face Daniel Da Silva.
Victor Altamirano lost his promotional debut against Carlos Hernandez via split decision earlier this year in February. So, he must be looking forward to rebounding from this loss in his second UFC match.
On the other hand, Daniel Da Silva also lost his first two UFC matches. He was defeated by Jeff Molina in his promotional debut whereas Francisco Figueiredo stopped him in the second bout.
Both these fighters are yet to register a win in the UFC. Therefore, both Altamirano and Da Silva will try their best to leave the octagon with a victory on September 10 at UFC 279.
Along with this, Aljamain Sterling vs TJ Dillashaw Bantamweight title bout has also been set to take place at the UFC 279 PPV event.
