EVENT NOTES

UFC Fight Night: Song vs Simon was the 72nd Fight Night event at Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

The event was supposed to be headlined by a lightweight bout between Arman Tsarukyan and Renato Moicano earlier. However, Moicano pulled out of the bout due to an injury. A bantamweight bout between Song Yadong and Ricky Simon was brought in from UFC Vegas 71 as the headliner for this event.

A middleweight bout between Rodolfo Vieira and Cody Brundage took place set for this event. It was originally booked for a Fight Night event in November 2022, but was cancelled after Viera pulled out with unknown reasons.

Martin Buday vs Jake Collier’s heavyweight contest was moved from UFC Kansas City Fight Night to this event.
