Tyson Fury & Francis Ngannou Had Back & Forth on Twitter
One of the best Heavyweight boxers, Tyson Fury has issued a challenge to UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou for a boxing match. However, this match won’t be a normal one.
Francis Ngannou has shown his interest in facing The Gypsy King several times in the past. But, now it seems like Tyson Fury is also interested in fighting the Beast of the UFC, as this time he was the one who started a verbal exchange on Twitter.
Tyson Fury posted a tweet in which he challenged Francis Ngannou for a boxing match but he proposed to use UFC gloves instead of normal boxing gloves.
Francis Ngannous replied to his tweet and proposed a match with MMA rules and boxing gloves. Fury quickly responded to this tweet of Ngannous and stated that he can guarantee that Francis would be knocked out by him and will get his highest purse as well.
UFC Heavyweight Champion didn’t back off here and stated that he is ready to face Tyson Fury under any special rules set inside a boxing ring, an octagon, or a phone booth after he handles the business on January 22.
Francis Ngannou is set to defend his UFC Heavyweight Championship in the main event of UFC 270 against Ciryl Gane.
Recently Ngannou also stated in an interview that he couldn’t see himself retiring without having boxing matches and he would certainly like to face boxers like Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder before he retires.
Therefore, there is a possibility that the fans might see this dream match up becoming reality in near future.
