Molly McCann vs Erin Blanchfield Set for UFC 281
UFC 281 received a key women’s flyweight bout.
Molly McCann is all set to face Erin Blanchfield on November 12 at UFC 281. The event will take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
McCann herself confirmed this news by sharing a post on her Instagram handle. However, UFC is yet to announce this bout officially.
Blanchfield is one of the youngest UFC fighters and is a surging prospect. She has been impressive ever since she made her UFC debut. Erin is yet to face a defeat in the promotion and is currently on a three-fight winning streak. She is coming off a submission victory against JJ Aldrich.
On the other hand, Molly McCann is also on a three-fight winning streak. She won her last match against Hannah Goldy with a beautiful spinning back elbow earlier this year in July. Before that, she defeated Luana Carolina and Ji Yeon Kim.
Now, it remains to be seen whether McCann will be able to give Blanchfield her first UFC loss or not when they face each other at MSG at UFC 281.
