Maycee Barber won’t be competing at UFC 269 on December 11 as she has withdrawn from this match due to an undisclosed reason.
Initially, the bout was supposed to happen between Maycee Barber and Montana De La Rosa. However, last month, De La Rosa was ruled out of the match and was replaced by Erin Blanchfield. Now, Barber is also out of this match but it is expected that Blanchfield would still compete at the event.
Erin Blanchfield’s manager and other people confirmed this news to MMA Junkie. However, the promotion is yet to make an official announcement.
It is expected that now Miranda Maverick might replace Maycee Barber at UFC 269. Her last bout was against Maycee Barber. However, she lost this one via a close split decision loss.
On the other hand, Blanchfield is one of the youngest UFC fighters as she is only 22 years old. She defeated Sarah Alpar in her last outing via unanimous decision.
Now, fans are very excited to know who will replace Maycee Barber for a match against Erin Blanchfield at UFC 269.
