Montana De La Rosa Out of UFC 269 Bout Against Maycee Barber

It has been confirmed that Montana De La Rosa vs Maycee Barber that is scheduled to take place on December 11 at UFC 269 would not happen anymore. 

On Tuesday, Maycee Barber shared a story on her Instagram handles revealing that her scheduled opponent Montana De La Rosa would not be able to compete at UFC 269. She even called out Roxanne Modafferi on her Instagram stories for a rematch.

According to MMA Fighting, De La Rosa has suffered an undisclosed injury. The great thing is that the injury is not serious and the promotion might schedule this match again to a later date. 

De La Rosa impressed everyone in her recent fight where she registered her very first stoppage victory against Ariane Lipski at UFC Vegas 28. 

On the other hand, Maycee Barber broke her two-fight winning streak against Miranda Maverick at UFC Vegas 32. Barber has won her first eight UFC matches before losing a fight to Modafferi via unanimous decision. Now, Maycee Barber wants to face her again and she has already laid out the challenge.
