Aspen Ladd Replaced Holly Holm to Fight Norma Dumont at UFC Vegas 40

Aspen Ladd will now replace Holly Holm in the women’s featherweight headliner of the UFC Fight Night 195 to challenge Norma Dumont. 

Holly Holm was ruled out of this featherweight bout due to a knee injury, and hence the promotion asked Aspen Ladd to replace her on very short notice to which she agreed. 

Now, Aspen Ladd vs Norma Dumont is official for the UFC Fight Night 195 that will take place on October 16 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. 

Aspen Ladd was supposed to have a match against Macy Chiasson on the UFC Fight Night 193 as well. However, the match was canceled as she exceeded the weight limit by one pound on the days of weigh-ins. 

Now, this time Ladd will make sure that she maintains her weight on the scale so that she can compete in the October 16 event. 

On the other hand, Norma Dumont have to completely change her strategy as initially, she was preparing to fight the farmer UFC and boxing champion. But now she will face an opponent whose technique is based on predominantly grappling. 

Now, the fans are very excited to see Aspen Ladd and Norma Dumont inside the octagon together on October 16.
