UFC 269 is an upcoming MMA pay-per-view event from the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion to take place on December 11, 2021. Charles Oliveira vs Dustin Poirier is confirmed as the main event for the event which is taking place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Other than that, two title matches are announced by UFC for this PPV. Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Pena match for the Bantamweight title, which was earlier scheduled for UFC 265, will take place at UFC 269 now. Moreno vs Figueiredo is now moved to UFC 270 from this event. Jorge Masvidal vs Leon Edwards was scheduled for this event, but Masvidal had to withdraw due to an injury.

December 10, 2021: Priscila Cachoeira missed the flyweight limit by 3 pounds. Her bout against Gillian Robertson is now moved to catchweight of 129 lbs. Cachoeira will have to forgo a portion of her purse in favor of Robertson.

December 10, 2021: Matt Schnell is ruled out of the event due to a medical issue. His opponent Alex Perez also missed weight by a quarter pound above the flyweight limit.

December 09, 2021: Cody Garbrandt and Sean O’Malley had to be separated after heated exchange during UFC 269 press conference. Both men were seated at the table just a few feets away and traded shots at each other. O’Malley asked Dana White to face off with Garbrandt at a future event, which prompted Garbrandt to charge at O’Malley.

December 08, 2021: Oliviera’s coach Diego Lima stated that Dustin Poirier is afraid of Oliveira’s strength on the ground.

December 08, 2021: Amanda Nunes fired back at Julianna Pena’s comments and called Pena delusional for thinking she has a weak ground game. Nunes pointed out that she is better than fighters like Germaine de Randamie and Valentina Shevchenko who earlier defeated Pena.
