Mateusz Rebecki vs Omar Morales Set for Jan 14 UFC Event
Mateusz Rebecki is set to make his UFC debut next year at the January 14 UFC Fight Night event.
It’s been announced that Mateusz Rebecki would clash against Omer Morales in his inaugural UFC bout next year in January.
Rebecki himself confirmed this news by sharing the following tweet. The caption of this post reads, “We have it! How do you view my debut? We have it, what do you think about my debut?”
Mateusz Rebecki earned the UFC contract at the Dana White Contender Series by defeating Rodrigo Lidio via first-round submission.
On the other hand, Omar Morales is struggling a bit for the last two years. He is 1–3 in his last four UFC bouts. Morales is coming off a second-round TKO loss against Uros Medic.
Before this, Omar lost the match via submission against Jonathan Pearce. Morales’s last win came against Shane Young at UFC 260 back in March 2021.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Morales will be able to return to the winning path again when he faces the newcomer Mateusz Rebecki on January 14, 2023, at the UFC Fight Night event. The location of the event remains unknown for now.
