LFA returned with LFA 156 event after a gap of three weeks as they headed back to Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD, on April 14, 2023.
The event was headlined by a vacant LFA Welterweight Championship bout between Jalin Fuller vs Trey Waters. Jalin Fuller had fought 6 of his 7 pro bouts under LFA’s banner and has lost just twice. However, these two losses had come in his last 4 bouts. He was last in action at LFA 150 in January this year to beat Scott Writz.
