Jan Blachowicz Assured Title Bout Against Prochazka Would Sell Out Stadium Show
Jan Blachowicz recently stated that if he would fight Jiri Prochazka in Poland for the UFC Light Heavyweight title, then it would draw more than 60K fans.
Blachowicz had a chat with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour where he said that his win against Rakic made him the no. 1 contender and now he is waiting for his opportunity to face the winner of Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka. The bout will take place at UFC 275 on June 11.
Jan prefers to fight against Prochazka as it will be the biggest fight in Europe if the promotion decides to do it in Europe.
Blachowicz even picked the location for the bout. He stated he would love to fight Jiri Prochazka at the national stadium in Poland as it can host 60,000 people.
On the other hand, Blachowicz will not mind fighting Glover Teixeira as he has a score to settle with him and avenge his previous loss.
He also revealed that there hasn’t been any talk regarding the title bout with the UFC officials so far. However, Jan believes that UFC will give him another title shot and he also assured that he would do everything in his power to become the next title challenger.
