Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs Jared Vanderaa Set for Oct 29 UFC event

According to the latest reports, Waldo Cortes-Acosta is set to make his UFC debut against Jared Vanderaa at the October 29 UFC Fight Night event. 

Carlos Contreas Legaspi of ESPN Deportes reported this news first which was later confirmed by several sources. 

Waldo Cortes-Acosta has been dominating the heavyweight division outside the UFC and is in the red hot form. On the other hand, Jared Vanderaa is going through the worst phase of his career. 

Cortes-Acosta won all of his seven MMA bouts and is coming off a first-round TKO victory against Danilo Suzart at Contender Series.

Meanwhile, Jared Vanderaa is on a four-fight losing streak. Out of these four losses, two came via TKO, one via submission, and the remaining one via decision. He is coming off a TKO loss against Chase Sherman earlier this year in July. 

So, will Vanderaa be able to get back on the winning track or will Cortes-Acosta continue his dominance in the UFC, when these two heavyweights collide at the October 29 UFC Fight Night event?
