Former UFC Fighter Aspen Ladd Inks a New Deal with PFL
It has been officially announced that the former UFC fighter Aspen Ladd signs a new deal with Professional Fighters League (PFL).
The official Twitter account of PFL announced this news by sharing a tweet just a week after Ladd separated ways with UFC.
UFC released Aspen Ladd after she failed to make weight several times. It became a reason for the cancellation of her bouts numerous times, the most recent one being the bout against Sara McMann.
However, Aspen Ladd is quite happy after joining PFL and the same is reflected in her statement as well. She expressed her gratitude that PFL gave her a chance to continue her career in a smart cage.
Ladd also stated that she is quite excited about the sports season format of the promotion where you can advance only by winning a match.
So far, it is unclear in which division Ladd will participate, but it is likely that she would be a part of the women’s featherweight division which PFL will introduce in 2023.
