Conor McGregor Already a Favorite to Win Potential Boxing Match Against Machine Gun Kelly
Conor Mcgregor is already a favorite of the oddsmakers for a hypothetical boxing match between him and Machine Gun Kelly.
Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly got involved in a physical altercation at the MTV Music Video Awards red carpet on September 12. The video of McGregor throwing his drink on MGK also went viral on the web.
After this incident, a betting site Bovada released its odds for a potential celebrity boxing match between Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly. The former UFC champ is heavily favored at -5000 whereas Kelly is at +1000.
This means one needs to bet $5000 on McGregor in order to win $1000, whereas $1000 can be earned with a successful bet of $100 on MGK. These numbers indicated that Conor McGregor’s probability of winning this bout is 98.04% whereas the same of Machine Gun Kelly is only 9.09%.
This major difference between the winning probability came as no surprise. Conor McGregor did lose his last few fights, but he is still one of the biggest stars of the UFC and is a former two-division champion at the promotion.
Also, the bout between Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly as Mcgregor will be out of action for the next few months due to his leg injury.
