Conor Mcgregor is making headlines once again, and this time too for the wrong reason. The Notorious Conor McGregor recently appeared on a red carpet at MTV Video Music Awards where he got involved in a physical altercation with a famous rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
It was reported that McGregor approached MGK and tried to take a picture with him. However, he was denied and even got pushed away by his team. This caused McGregor to spill his drink, and he even lost the cane that he was using for the recovery.
As a result. Conor McGregor tried to throw his remaining drink at Machine Gun Kelly. There was chaos for about 30 seconds when they approached each other. Fortunately, the security team separated them before they could get physical.
A lot of photographers were present at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, and they made sure to capture every single moment of the altercation between MGK and McGregor.
Later, Conor McGregor addressed this incident during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He stated “Absolutely nothing (happened). I don’t know. I just showed up and I don’t know. I don’t even know the guy to be honest with you. Just rumors. Nothing happened with me. I only fight real fighters. People that actually fight. I certainly don’t fight little Vanilla Ice white rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”
Conor McGregor last appeared at UFC 264 where he lost against Dustin Poirier for the second time and broke his leg as well. He underwent physical surgery right after the fight and is currently in the recovering phase. It is still unclear when he will return to Octagon but it is expected to happen in early 2022.
