According to the latest reports, Andre Fili is set to collide against Lucas Almeida on February 25, 2023 at UFC Vegas 70 in Las Vegas. Marcel Dorff of Eurosports confirmed this matchup by sharing a tweet.
Andre Fili’s UFC career has been filled with ups and downs, especially in the last two years. Fili had 2 wins, 2 losses, and no contest in his last five matches. He is coming off a win against Bill Algeo, and before that, he lost against Joanderson Brito.
On the other hand, Lucas Almedia recently impressed everyone on his UFC debut against Michael Trizano. He won his inaugural UFC bout via a third-round TKO.
Now both these fighters are looking to create a winning streak. Fili hasn’t won two back-to-back matches since 2019, whereas Almeida just started his UFC journey.
