Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao poster

Unified WBC & WBO Super Featherweight Champion Shakur Stevenson will return to action against Robson Conceicao on September 23, 2022, at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

One of the rising stars in boxing, Shakur Stevenson remains undefeated in both featherweight and super featherweight divisions with 18 wins(9 KOs). Robson Conceicao is WBC mandatory challenger, a status he got by defeating Xavier Martinez in the title eliminator earlier this year.

Stevenson unified the WBO Super Featherweight title last year by defeating Jamel Herring via 10th-round stoppage. He went on to face Oscar Valdez this year in April to add the WBC title to his ranks via a one-sided unanimous decision.

This will be Conceicao’s second shot at the Super Featherweight title. Earlier, he suffered his first career loss to Oscar Valdez for the WBC title last year. He has bounced back to defeat Xavier Martinez via a unanimous decision to get another title shot. Will he be able to upset Stevenson’s dominant run in the division?

With this being a Top Rank Promotions event, we will see undefeated prospects Keyshawn Davis, Bruce Carrington, Jahi Tucker, Armani Almestica, Pablo Valdez and Floyd “Cashflow” Diaz on the undercard. Orlando Gonzalez will also feature on the prelims card.
