Fundora is stepping into the ring for the second time this year. He defeated Erickson Lubin in April this year to win the Interim WBC Super Welterweight title via corner stoppage. A win here might force Jermell Charlo to give a title shot to Fundora.
Ocampo has been quite active with three bouts this year and has won all three bouts via knockouts. His last win over Vicente Martin Rodriguez came via knockout in the first round itself. This will be the second attempt at a World title for Ocampo after he was defeated by Errol Spence Jr. in 2018 in IBF Welterweight title bout. Will the second time be the charm for Ocampo?
Carlos Adames and Juan Macias Montiel will also clash interim WBC Middleweight Championship title in the co-main event. Fernando Martinez will defend his IBF Super Flyweight title for the first time against Jerwin Ancajas in a rematch. Martinez defeated Ancajas earlier this year to win the title.
