Jake Paul(4-0) was able to get the decision in his favor in the last bout between these two men earlier in August this year. Woodley wanted a rematch right away and even fulfilled Paul’s condition of getting an “I Love Jake Paul” tattoo. But Paul moved on and had a date set to face Tommy Fury.

However, Woodley gets a call two weeks before the event if he can get ready for the rematch on December 18. Fury had dropped out due to a chest infection and broken ribs. Thankfully, Woodley was already training for something in January and is getting his rematch at last. There is an additional clause that Woodley will get an extra $500,000 if he manages to knock out Paul here. We will also get a trilogy fight he Woodley wins here.

The undercard is done and we are in the main event now. We are getting the video package for the match. Tyron Woodley comes out first.

Paul is out now. He does not have his robot with him this time around.

Round 1: Paul tries to use his long jab. He misses an overhead right. Woodley get into a clinch a few times. Paul lands a right hand to the body. Paul lands his jabs at the body.

Round 2: Paul lands an overhead right. More of the same a couple of times more. Woodley gets into a clinch to stop him. Paul charges again and once again Woodley gets into a clinch. Paul lands body shot twice. Woodley fires one back. Paul lands his jabs as we enter the final minute. A good exchange between them. Paul is on the front foot as the round ends.

Round 3: Woodley charges to start the round and lands a shot. Paul lands double jabs. Woodley lands a good combo. Woodley was all over Paul with good shot. Paul is cut on his head. He comes back with double jab. Paul throws his shots but does not land much. Woodley throws another shot before they get into a hug. Woodley hits a body shot before the referee breaks the clinch.

Round 4: Both men are cautious to start again. First minute get over without much. Woodley lands a right. Paul throws some shots at the body in quick succession. Paul gets in a clinch and Woodley unleashes his MMA version to take him down. They restart after the referee’s warning. They get into a clinch again. The round ends without much action.

Round 5: Both men swing and miss. Paul lands his jab. Paul lands a combination of jabs. Woodley punches at his body. He hits an uppercut in a quick exchange. They get into a clinch a few times in this round also. Woodley lands quick shots before more clinch.

Round 6: Woodley misses his uppercut. They try to hit at body when they get into clinch again. Paul lands a combo. Woodley lands his jab. The fight continues until Paul lands a big overhead right which drops Woodley for good. Paul feint a jab at the body. Woodley goes to defend it but Paul rocks Woodley with that punch.
