Naoya Inoue Defeated Aran Dipaen Via TKO in Eighth Round

The Monster, Naoya Inoue retained his IBA WBF Bantamweight titles in a one-sided battle against Aran Dipaen on Tuesday.

Inoue ended the fight with a TKO as expected in the eighth round of the match. He used his tough right hook to finish off the Thai fighter.

At some moments, the match felt like a sparring session of Naoya Inoue, The Monster completely dominated this fight. Inoue could even finish the match earlier if he wanted to but it felt like he was carrying his opponent.

However, Aran Diapen earned a lot of praise for his toughness. It is still unclear why Naoya Inoue chose Aran Dipaen as his challenger as the latter didn’t deserve a title shot yet.

The Monster hasn’t competed against a solid boxer in the last two years. On the other hand, the competition of Dipaen has also been horrible since his loss to Tommy Frank back in 2019.

Before facing Aran Dipane, Inoue defeated fighters like Michael Dasmarinas, Jason Moloney, and Nonito Donaire in his last three bouts.

Now, everyone’s expecting Naoya Inoue to choose a fighter of his caliber the next time he defends his IBF/WBA Bantamweight titles.
