Floyd “Money” Mayweather will return to action on September 25, 2022(Sept 24 in US time) with an exhibition bout at Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Mayweather’s opponent will be Mikuru Asakura, an MMA Fighter and a famous Youtube star. It will be the first boxing crusade for Asakura who holds a 16-3-1 record in his MMA career. The bout is being promoted by Rizin MMA Promotion and is titled as “Super Rizin.”
Since his final pro-boxing bout against Conor McGregor in 2017, Floyd Mayweather has been engaged in several exhibition boxing. His first exhibition bout came at Saitama Super Arena itself when he knocked out Japanese boxer and kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa. He has since faced Logan Paul and Don Moore in non-scored bouts.
