AEW has provided injury updates for Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Adam Page and Kenny Omega during the media scrum and over social media after AEW Full Gear 2019.
There was some concerns about Joey Janela who was attended by the medical team just after his match against Shawn Spears ended. AEW President Tony Khan told the media that Janela is fine and the team checked on him after the referee called for help. Jungle Boy was also with the medical team as he also wanted to check on his best buddy.
Tony Khan also told that Hangman Adam Page is also fine and will be facing PAC at Dynamite this week. Adam Page is believed to have suffered a stinger during his win against PAC at AEW Full Gear.
AEW also posted over Twitter that Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes is not cleared for action. AEW tweeted the photo where Cody is seen with several stitches on his forehead. Cody was in the AEW World Championship match against Chris Jericho. He suffered a cut on the forehead as he went for a suicide dive on Jericho at the ramp.
Finally, Kenny Omega also tweeted that he is not cleared for the action currently. Omega faced Jon Moxley in an unsanctioned match at Full Gear 2019 where everything from barbed wires, crushed glasses, mouse traps, and other weapons were used.
